Windows 8.1: Create an Installation ISO

As a Windows 8.0 customer, you can only upgrade to the new version of the operating system via a system that already has Windows 8 installed. If Windows 8.0 is installed, it’s very quick and easy to upgrade using the Update option found in the Windows Store. However, this is very annoying if you want to quickly set up Windows 8.1 again following a hard drive crash. When this happens, you first have to re-install Windows 8.0 and then apply the update to install version 8.1 from the Windows Store.
