Event Viewer: Easily Search for Errors

Windows XP and Windows 2000 are the most stable of all the operating systems yet developed by Microsoft, but even Windows XP/2000 can sometimes experience problems. If you are seeing error messages appearing on your screen as you use your computer, you can use a handy built-in utility called the Event Viewer to troubleshoot what causes such error messages to appear. Whether the problem is caused by a hardware error, program crash or security alert, it is registered in the Event Viewer.
