Smart Defrag

Defragmenting your hard drive is a necessary step for a high performance PC. Smart Defrag Portable is a small tool that will help you to do this. In the main part of the window you will see a list of all drives that the program can defragment, along with various details about them such as the status, free space and total size, file system, automatic defrag and boot time defrag status. You can also add additional files and folders that need to be individually defragmented. Unlike the default Windows defragmentation tool, the program can perform three different types of defragmentation: Defrag Only, Defrag and Fast Optimize or Defrag and Fully Optimize, which all provide different levels of speedup. You can configure the application to shut down your PC once the process is finished, which is useful if you leave the app running over night. Since the app is completely portable it doesn’t need to be installed to the computer in order to work and can be launched from any type of removable device, such as a flash drive.
