 Auslogics Registry Cleaner is a tool that helps you detect and repair problems in your registry. In the main window you can select parts of the registry that you want to scan for prblems, then verify that your registry is working properly. You can check file associations and extensions, fonts, installed software, startup items, shortcuts, the firewall, your Internet connection, help files, COM and ActiveX items, shared DLLS, virtual devices and missing software. The tool will scan all of these and see whether any of the settings are configured incorrectly in the registry. Once the scan is completed, the results are displayed in the main window, as well as a severity level for each problem detected. You can use the tool to backup your registry before applying any fixes, then select the problems that you’d like to repair. When installing the tool, keep an eye on the installation options and remove any third-party software that is also offered for installation.
