OneDrive for Windows 8/8.1

Microsoft has completely integrated the free OneDrive online storage service into Windows 8/8.1. Using the built-in app or Windows Explorer, you can upload your files and have access to your data stored in the cloud. You can even access your data in the cloud from other devices and other versions of Windows. All you need to get started is a Windows Live ID and Microsoft will give you 15 GB of storage space for free. Windows Vista and Windows 7 users can also use OneDrive, and you can share data in OneDrive to allow other users to access it. Any changes made to the data stored in OneDrive are automatically reflected on your PC and other devices using the synchronisation feature.

In this article, I’ll show you the important features that OneDrive provides, how to optimally configure OneDrive, and how to quickly solve any problems that may arise.
