Unknown Device Identifier enables you to identify hardware components listed as “Unknown Device” in the Windows Device Manager; those with the telltale yellow question mark next to them. The program provides a detailed summary about each unknown device, including the manufacturer’s name, OEM name, device type and more. You can then use this information to search for driver software, or contact the manufacturer. HunterSoft also produce a useful device driver backup program called My Drivers.
