Setup Monitor is a handy tool that monitors your system for when a program is trying to set up or is being installed. Once an instance is detected, Setup Monitor displays a message to check if you have created a Restore Point before the installation. The program then goes back into the background whilst the set up finishes and starts monitoring again. It also notifies you about ‘silent’ background installations that start without warning.
