Re-partitioning or replacing your existing hard drive or installing a second hard drive to increase your PCs storage capacity is a relatively straightforward procedure. However, users often find it difficult to partition a hard drive as they have little or no experience of carrying out this task. Partitioning your hard drive allows you to manage the vast amounts of storage space that is available today on hard drives more efficiently, and gives you a more stable PC as you can then store your applications on a different partition to your data. This means that if an application crashes, your data is safe as its stored on a different partition.
