Alongside this, there has been an explosion in the number of companies selling anti-virus software and other security solutions, often with hefty annual subscriptions. There are also lots of good free tools designed to remove infections from your PC. However, these dont always work, and there is a chance that you can contract a virus that your security software doesnt know about.
