How to Delete Files from Your System Immediately

You can delete files by selecting them and pressing the [Del] key, or selecting Delete from the right-click menu in Explorer. When you do so, you’ll see a message on screen asking if you want to move the file to the Recycle Bin. You can disable this message and have files deleted immediately as follows:

  1. Open Explorer by pressing [Windows Key][E] and navigate to the Recycle Bin.
  2. Right-click on the Recycle Bin and choose Properties from the pop-up menu.
  3. Select the option Don’t move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted.
  4. Click OK.
